Ramps
Features
• Securing chains are passed through the corner castings on the
container, and then placed in the notches on the container ramp.
This safety feature prevents the container ramp from moving
backwards while the forklift maneuvers near the entry point of
the container.
• The full seven foot [2000mm] operating width allows excellent
operation, especially for the pallets close to the doors at this
width the container ramps can also be used for refrigerated
containers.
• The tread plate floor surface gives good traction for wheels,
and secures footing for personnel, even in wet conditions.
• The lifting lugs are strong, trouble free and fold down as
part of the floor the loading ramp is moved into position from
the front of the container, not shuffled sideways as with
loading ramps that have sideways entry tyne holes...
• No dangerous carrying with the forks under the slippery plate,
and no damage to the loading ramp.
Operating instructions
• Open container doors and retain doors to container body
• Ensure the chains are resting on top of the loading ramp.
• Raise the two lifting 'dees'
• Insert the blades of the forklift into the 'dees'
• Check to see if the loading ramp will contact the mast of the
forklift when lifted.
• Move the loading ramp to the open mouth of the container.
• Lower the leading edge into the container.
• Rest the end of the loading ramp on the ground
• Remove the forklift.
• Lower the 'dees'
• Pass the chains through the corner castings on the container,
and lodge in the 'crow's foot' on each side. This will prevent
the loading ramp from moving under work.

Forklift Ramp are designed primarily for
bridging into a standard container from ground level for
loading and unloading a shipping container utilising a
forklift. These forklift ramp can also
be used for vehicle loading from a raised dock. The
forklift ramp are fitted self-levelling
lip allows for full load capacity when on uneven ground.
The forklift ramp allows easier removal
of the first pallets from the container should forklift
tilt be a problem. Securing chains prevent unintentional
disengagement from the container during usage. Durable
enamel paints finish.
